Main contractor Evora Construction was awarded the contract in late 2019 to build four large industrial units at Marrtree Business Park in Sowerby, Thirsk. Harrogate Steel provided the full steel work package for the project, all designed, manufactured, and installed by its expert team.

Harrogate Steel took a flexible partnership approach to the project, supporting the main contractor’s team on site. Part way through installation the Covid-19 lock down restrictions were put in place and therefore social distancing regulations had to be factored into the erection process on site. The team adapted to these new and unforeseen circumstances, taking a professional approach to all Health and Safety elements, ensuring that the project timeline remained unhindered.
