  • Architectural metalwork fabricators and platers - job specification below
  • Welders - job specification below
  • Structural steel fabricators
  • Tekla draughtsperson (structural steel and architectural metalwork experience required)

Architectural Metalwork Fabricators and Platers

  • Time served fabricators with experience of railings, balustrades, staircases, and balconies
  • Experience in both MIG Processes is essential and TIG processes would be an advantage
  • Medium to heavy fabrication experience and skills to weld to a coded standard of 9606-1
  • Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently
  • Confident working in a fast-paced fabrication shop
  • Willing to work overtime as and when required
  • Previous experience with overhead cranes and slinging would be an advantage
  • Experience in reading and understanding fabrication drawings
  • Able to work to execution class 3 standard BSEN 1090-2

40 ¼ hrs per week 7.30am-5.00pm Mon to Thurs – 7.30am-1pm Friday – Overtime available

Welders

  • Time served welders with medium to heavy fabrication experience, architectural experience would be an advantage but not essential
  • Experience in examining welding procedure data sheets and specifications, planning welding sequences, and delivering the right welds for the job. This will include single and multi-run fillet welds, together with part and full penetration butt welds
  • Experience in both MIG processes and ability to weld to a coded standard of 9606-1
  • Ability to work to execution class 3 standard BSEN 1090-2
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced fabrication shop
  • Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently
  • Willing to work overtime as and when required
