Harrogate Steel has recently upgraded its industry certifications underpinning its drive for unrivalled quality in its systems, products, operations, and services.

Prior to commencing the certification upgrade process Harrogate Steel decided to employ the expert services of Michael Lunn of MLISO Ltd, an acknowledged expert in developing and implementing ISO and related management systems.

Michael tested and challenged the work carried out by the internal team providing specialist guidance, so that the business presented what it does in a way that reflected the high standards that it prides itself on.

The new and upgraded certifications are:

  • Execution Class 3 (previously working to class 2)
  • ISO 14001: Environmental Management System
  • ISO 45001: Occupational Health and Safety Management System
  • ISO 9001: Quality Management System

Dan Worsell, Operations Director at Harrogate Steel comments:

“The certifications recognise the ‘step up’ and progress made in all our systems and operational activities, reflecting our commitment to improve the service we provide to all of our customers and also our underlying ethos for continuous improvement across the business.”

Michael Lunn comments:

“Working with the Harrogate Steel team, I was impressed by the existing underlying quality of their operations and support systems and by their commitment to drive the business forward in a way that recognises the high safety, sustainability and quality standards demanded by its contractor partners and the industry as a whole.”
